Lakewood
I have just finished up my 17th year of teaching computer science, computer technologies, and cybersecurity at Warren Tech (WT), which is an option school in the Jeffco Schools network. Prior to coming to work for WT I came out of a 20-year long career in Information Technology (IT), where I learned a variety of technologies (networking, programming, etc.) and gradually rose up through increasingly responsible roles. I am a former (1994) Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), and a former (2004) Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP). Today I hold several CompTIA certifications in addition to the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Certified Cloud Practitioner, and the Python Institute Python Certified Entry-Level Programmer (PCEP) certification. In my classes I teach a variety of subjects:
* TCP/IP and networking
* Various technical certifications (CompTIA, AWS, PCEP)
* Relational database management systems (RDBMS) - PostgreSQL
* Virtualization using Oracle VirtualBox
* Ethical hacking using a virtualized lab
* pfSense firewall
* Python programming
* Machine learning
* Data science
* Electronics (Raspberry PI and HakShop electronics)
* Amazon Web Services (AWS) Academy
